Welcome to the New RossValleyFire.org

Ross Valley Fire Department is pleased to welcome you to our new online home with the launch of our new website November 2013. The new site represents five years of evolving online tools and information, allowing us to vastly expand our content and ability to deliver online information across all modern desktop and mobile platforms.

Among the new site’s key features:

• Dramatically expanded fire prevention, planning review, and permit process information.  
• A "workflow" format guides permit applicants through the varied processes for each town and district in our jurisdiction.
• Responsive design is compatible and optimized to work with all internet enabled devices, from smart-phones to iPads to large screen desktop browsers.
• Email newsletter integration alows us to keep Ross Valley residents and visitors informed in a more timely manner.
• Fire officials may update the site in "real-time" from the field, eventually adding the ability to share important information instantly when breaking events occur.

The new web site was built using a state-of-the art, secure content management system, making updates exceptionally easy, even while mobile. The RVFD also has a presence on Facebook and Twitter, both of which see frequent updates.
