Follow up Home Evaluations: Coming in September & October

Wildfire Risk Home Evaluation

Hello Neighbors,

Starting as early as September 16th, local fire departments will start inspecting properties throughout Marin that have been identified to receive  follow up wildfire risk evaluations.  If you had a Wildfire Risk evaluation this year, you MAY receive an additional evaluation.  If you are not at home, we will only inspect what we can see from the street to your front door.

Review your report online and take action to resolve any outstanding wildfire issues prior to the inspector’s arrival. Your property’s report provides steps to reduce wildfire risks and improve your safety. Some actions may be required by law. Property owners are required to maintain their properties' vegetation at all times during fire season.

Go to marinwildfiredspace.org or call (415) 275–1185 for help and resources. Wildfire Risk Reports are available online to property owners, renters, and authorized representatives.

This program is provided by your local fire department and Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority, funded by Tax Measure C (2020)
