Downtown areas in San Anselmo, Fairfax, and Ross have reopened.  Please avoid waterways and creeks as water levels are still high.  FLASH FLOOD WARNING is in effect until 7:30PM Tuesday, Feb 7.

FLOOD SIRENS HAVE SOUNDED! 0700AM FEB 7 FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING!  EVACUATE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY - AVOID DOWNTOWN AND CREEK AREAS!

Flash Flood Watch in effect for the North Bay and Coastal ranges...

Another atmospheric river will bring periods of moderate to heavy rain to the Bay Area and Central Coast. Rivers and creeks are responding very fast to the rainfall due to the saturated soils and creeks already near bankfull.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS

A flash flood watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.
