A garage fire in Fairfax early Sunday morning caused about $20,000 in damage, according to the Ross Valley Fire Department.
Units responded to a 3:29 a.m. call at 63 Laurel Drive and found a detached garage on fire, according to RVFD's Jim Hanson. It was quickly extinguished and the site was declared under control at 3:53 a.m.
Nobody was injured or displaced. There was no damage to the adjacent home, Hanson said.
RVFD received assistance from the Marin County Fire Department, and 17 personnel were at the fire scene. The cause is under investigation.
Three garages, and several vehicles, were recently damaged in a San Anselmo fire on June 27.
