Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a national program, now part of Citizens Corp under FEMA. CERTs are volunteers who have gone through a training process that enables them to participate in the public safety response in a community following a large scale emergency or disaster. Be a good neighbor and become an emergency volunteer and a Disaster Service Worker. It takes 18 hours and costs only $45.00.
