Chipper Program

Ross Valley Fire Department owns and opertates a brush chipper and support truck to assist with vegetation clearance and removal to reduce wildfire fuel loads.  This chipper is available to Ross Valley communities, and will support regularly scheduled "chipper days" in wildfire prone neighborhoods.  The truck and chipper may be available to other communities through an agreement with FIRESafe MARIN.
