Ross Valley Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 71 Longview Ave., San Anselmo June 16, 2011. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire involvement to the rear of a multi-story residential structure, with fire extending inside the building. Firefighters requested a second alarm, with additional personel and engines from Ross, Marin County, San Rafael, Kentfield, Corte Madera, and Mill Valley responding to the scene, and engines from Larkspur and San Rafael covering Ross Valley fire stations. The cause is currently under investigation.
